    About

    👋 Hi there!

My name is Simon, and I started netblogger (polish version) back in 2009 as a source of information on how to create a website or blog and reach potential audiences.

    🌱 Community

The main idea is simple — netblogger is here to build a community of people who share helpful content for anyone looking for it.

This is not a blog run by one all-knowing author. Every reader can influence the content — by suggesting ideas, corrections, and improvements, or sharing feedback and personal reviews.

netblogger is both an explorer and an editor.

The real authors are US — readers, subscribers, and reviewers.

🚂 Where is this train headed?

    Part 1

In 2025, I decided to fully return to developing netblogger. The first focus (after updating old posts) will be free website building.

netblogger is meant to be a complete guide to everything you need to build and grow a profitable website or online store.

The kind of knowledge others charge hundreds or thousands for will be available here for next to nothing — often completely free. It’s my way of giving back to the open source community.

If you find the content valuable, you can always buy me a coffee or support in other ways (like using my affiliate links when buying reviewed products or services).

    Part 2

Once NetBlogger covers the basics of building websites (starting with WordPress, then moving into other CMSs and technologies), we’ll explore the far reaches of the internet — staying true to the idea of “Internet for People.”

NetBlogger aims to be a place where anyone can learn how to stop struggling with technology and start using it to their advantage.

But that’s a story for another day. 😊

👨‍💻 A few words about me

I’m a gardener by passion and profession, but since 2009 I’ve mostly worked in IT and marketing, taking on various roles over the years. Most often:

    • 🛠 Web development (PHP, React)
    • 👥 User/Customer Experience
    • 📈 Inbound marketing

Now I mainly focus on usability — because, really, what’s the point of a website if it’s not usable?

My hope is that netblogger will help make websites a bit more accessible and friendly to everyday users.
